I am not sure who invented splash parks, but they are glorious for kids and hot days. We hit up Shady Park Splash Pad in Winter Park (it is FREE) on Saturday, July 23rd and from what I hear this is the smallest and "not as great as the other splash parks," but Hartz LOVED it. I think it is perfect for toddlers that don't need much more entertaining than a random shot of water.

Then he barely seemed to notice that he was sitting on something... made us laugh.
Then on Sunday we headed over to Tampa to visit some friends and babies. We headed to the Tampa Aquarium and I realized that if I lived there I would have an annual pass and go everyday. It is basically an air conditioned zoo.. with food, a bar, and a SPLASH PARK. Orlando, hello, can we get one?!
After the aquarium we headed over to Mike and Jen's house to visit sweet Caroline and force an impromptu play date on Mike (Jen was working). Brooke and Isabella joined us as well. We ended with a late birthday party for Hartz and Bronson who share the same birthday. Thanks to Blake and Beth for the cake and matching outfits for the boys!
